1. Purpose of YatraNidhi

YatraNidhi is designed to help users manage group travel budgets, member contributions, expense splits, remaining balances, summaries, and receipts. It is intended for personal, family, group, yatra, college trip, and travel organizer use.

2. Your Responsibility for Entries

You are responsible for the accuracy of trip names, member details, budgets, expenses, split amounts, corrections, freeze/rejoin actions, notes, and receipt images entered into the app. Before using any balance, receipt, PDF, or export for settlement, reimbursement, or group communication, you should verify the data with the people involved.

3. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Accounting Advice

YatraNidhi is a record-keeping utility. It does not provide financial, legal, accounting, tax, investment, lending, or dispute-resolution advice. Any settlement decision is between you and your group members.

4. Offline Data and Backups

The app is offline-first and stores core data locally. You are responsible for maintaining backups before uninstalling the app, resetting data, changing phones, importing files, or restoring cloud data. Optional local and cloud backup features are provided for convenience and may depend on passwords, device storage, network access, or third-party service availability.

5. Generated PDFs, Reports, and Exports

PDFs, summaries, CSVs, backup files, and shared receipts are generated from the records available in the app at the time of generation. If entries are incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, voided, or missing, the generated reports may also be incorrect or incomplete.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use YatraNidhi to:

• Record, share, or export information that you do not have permission to manage.
• Harass, mislead, defame, threaten, or financially pressure another person.
• Upload or share unlawful, harmful, or infringing content through backups, receipts, or images.
• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or misuse the app beyond normal personal use.

7. Third-Party Services and Assets

YatraNidhi may integrate optional services such as cloud backup, printing, sharing, file picking, or remote image sources. Third-party services are controlled by their own terms, privacy practices, and availability. Default decorative trip covers may use compressed derivatives of Unsplash-hosted travel photographs under the Unsplash License.

8. App Availability and Changes

Features may be improved, removed, redesigned, or updated over time. The developer may release fixes, performance improvements, security hardening, UI updates, legal page updates, or compatibility changes. Some functionality may depend on your device, Android version, installed apps, storage permissions, or network conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not responsible for losses, disputes, incorrect settlements, missed reimbursements, deleted data, unavailable backups, device failures, third-party service interruptions, or decisions made based on app records. Use the app and generated reports with reasonable care.

10. Intellectual Property

The YatraNidhi name, app design, code, branding, website design, and related materials belong to their respective owner or developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or repackage the app or website assets without permission.
